SparkFun RedBoard Plus Development Board is an Arduino-compatible board that is similar to an Arduino Uno with many extra perks. This DEV-1858 development board utilizes a handy Qwiic Connect System that means no soldering or shields are required to connect it to the rest of the system. The RedBoard Plus board includes the hardware peripherals like 22x digital I/O pins with 6x PWM pins, 8x analog pins, UART, I2C, SPI, and external interrupts. 

This board uses the LM1117 5V voltage regulator and AP2112 3.3V voltage regulator that provides up to 600mA to daisy chain multiple Qwiic boards and sensors. The RedBoard Plus board comes with an I/O voltage switch also known as the “Red Squirrel” switch. This Red Squirrel switch can easily select the GPIO voltage between 3.3V to 5V. RedBoard Plus can be programmed over a USB-C cable with 5V input voltage or through the barrel jack from 7V to 15V input voltage. This development board features 32kB flash memory, 16MHz clock speed, all SMD construction, R3 shield compatibility, and an improved reset button.

The SparkFun QuickLogic Thing Plus EOS™ S3, is a small form factor system ideal for enabling the next generation of low-power Machine Learning (ML) devices. The QuickLogic Thing Plus is powered by QuickLogic’s EOS S3, the first FPGA-enabled Arm Cortex©-M4F MCU to be fully supported with Zephyr RTOS and FreeRTOS. The SparkFun STTS22H Temperature Sensor is a Qwiic-enabled breakout board based on the ultralow-power, high-accuracy, digital temperature sensor from ST Microelectronics and housed in our standard Qwiic form factor. Thanks to its factory calibration the STTS22H offers high-end accuracy performance over the entire operating temperature range, reaching as low as ±0.5°C without requiring any further calibration at the application level. 

The sensor operating mode is user-configurable and allows selecting between different ODRs (down to 1Hz) or the one-shot mode for battery saving. In one-shot mode, the sensor current consumption falls to 1.75µA. Peripheral addresses are also user-configurable and allow up to four different addresses to be specified by manipulating the jumpers on the back of the breakout. In addition, an interrupt pin is available to signal the application whenever the user-selectable high or low threshold has been exceeded.

The Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 Mini is a breakout and development board for the nRF52840, a powerful combination of ARM Cortex-M4 CPU and 2.4GHz Bluetooth radio from SparkFun. With the nRF52840 at the heart of your project, you’ll have access to an almost limitless number of project possibilities in a surprisingly small package. 

Most of the critical I/O pins, including GPIO and those required for power, are separated on our mini development board for the nRF52840, which has a footprint that is nearly identical to the Arduino Pro Mini (except those covered by the Qwiic Connector). It has a USB interface (which takes advantage of the nRF52840’s native USB support) that can be used to program, power, and communicate with the chip, allowing it to be used for any purpose (UART, I2C, SPI) that the Arduino Pro Mini can. A Raytac MDBT50Q-P1M module is included in the Pro nRF52840 Mini. This module connects the nRF52840 to a trace antenna, fits the IC into an FCC-approved footprint, and includes many of the decoupling and timing mechanisms that a bare nRF52840 design would require. A LiPo battery charger, a Qwiic connector, an on/off switch, a reset switch, and a user LED/button are also included onboard.

This is the SparkFun Time of Flight (ToF) Range Finder Sensor – VL6180 (Sparkfun), a sensor board for the VL6180 distance sensor. Unlike most distance sensors that rely on reflected light intensity or reflected angles to determine the range, the VL6180 uses a precise clock to measure the time it takes light to bounce back from a surface. This affords the ToF Range Finder and VL6180 a great benefit over other methods because it can be much more accurate and more immune to noise. Does this technology sound familiar? Well it should, it’s the same means cellphones use to detect when the caller is holding their phone to their ear.  

Note: Though the datasheet states the VL6180 measures an absolute range of up to 10cm, we have successfully tested it up to 25cm.

The SparkFun IN100 NanoBeacon Board is a breakthrough in wireless low-energy BT beacon technology. The SparkFun Qwiic MicroPressure Sensor is a miniature breakout equipped with Honeywell’s 25psi piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor. This MicroPressure Sensor offers a calibrated and compensated pressure sensing range of 60 bar to 2.5bar, easy to read 24-bit digital I2C output. 

Each Qwiic MicroPressure Sensor has a calibrated pressure sensing range from 1-25psi and a power consumption rate as low as 0.01mW Typ. average power, 1Hz measurement frequency for ultimate portability. 

This pressure sensor comes with a metal port. You can easily attach a tube to it, to measure air pressure inside a close space. It is a great sensor for the pressure within a vacuum chamber or other pressurized container. You can use it to measure the level of water if you put the tube in the water.

SparkFun RedBoard Plus Development Board is an Arduino-compatible board that is similar to an Arduino Uno with many extra perks. This DEV-1858 development board utilizes a handy Qwiic Connect System that means no soldering or shields are required to connect it to the rest of the system. The RedBoard Plus board includes the hardware peripherals like 22x digital I/O pins with 6x PWM pins, 8x analog pins, UART, I2C, SPI, and external interrupts. 

This board uses the LM1117 5V voltage regulator and AP2112 3.3V voltage regulator that provides up to 600mA to daisy chain multiple Qwiic boards and sensors. The SparkFun STTS22H Temperature Sensor is a Qwiic-enabled breakout board based on the ultralow-power, high-accuracy, digital temperature sensor from ST Microelectronics and housed in our standard Qwiic form factor. Thanks to its factory calibration the STTS22H offers high-end accuracy performance over the entire operating temperature range, reaching as low as ±0.5°C without requiring any further calibration at the application level. 

The sensor operating mode is user-configurable and allows selecting between different ODRs (down to 1Hz) or the one-shot mode for battery saving. In one-shot mode, the sensor current consumption falls to 1.75µA. Peripheral addresses are also user-configurable and allow up to four different addresses to be specified by manipulating the jumpers on the back of the breakout. In addition, an interrupt pin is available to signal the application whenever the user-selectable high or low threshold has been exceeded.

The Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 Mini is a breakout and development board for the nRF52840, a powerful combination of ARM Cortex-M4 CPU and 2.4GHz Bluetooth radio from SparkFun. With the nRF52840 at the heart of your project, you’ll have access to an almost limitless number of project possibilities in a surprisingly small package. 

Most of the critical I/O pins, including GPIO and those required for power, are separated on our mini development board for the nRF52840, which has a footprint that is nearly identical to the Arduino Pro Mini (except those covered by the Qwiic Connector). This is the SparkFun Time of Flight (ToF) Range Finder Sensor – VL6180 (Sparkfun), a sensor board for the VL6180 distance sensor. Unlike most distance sensors that rely on reflected light intensity or reflected angles to determine the range, the VL6180 uses a precise clock to measure the time it takes light to bounce back from a surface. This affords the ToF Range Finder and VL6180 a great benefit over other methods because it can be much more accurate and more immune to noise. Does this technology sound familiar? Well it should, it’s the same means cellphones use to detect when the caller is holding their phone to their ear.  

Note: Though the datasheet states the VL6180 measures an absolute range of up to 10cm, we have successfully tested it up to 25cm.

SparkFun RedBoard Plus Development Board is an Arduino-compatible board that is similar to an Arduino Uno with many extra perks. This DEV-1858 development board utilizes a handy Qwiic Connect System that means no soldering or shields are required to connect it to the rest of the system. The RedBoard Plus board includes the hardware peripherals like 22x digital I/O pins with 6x PWM pins, 8x analog pins, UART, I2C, SPI, and external interrupts. 

This board uses the LM1117 5V voltage regulator and AP2112 3.3V voltage regulator that provides up to 600mA to daisy chain multiple Qwiic boards and sensors. The RedBoard Plus board comes with an I/O voltage switch also known as the “Red Squirrel” switch. This Red Squirrel switch can easily select the GPIO voltage between 3.3V to 5V. The SparkFun STTS22H Temperature Sensor is a Qwiic-enabled breakout board based on the ultralow-power, high-accuracy, digital temperature sensor from ST Microelectronics and housed in our standard Qwiic form factor. Thanks to its factory calibration the STTS22H offers high-end accuracy performance over the entire operating temperature range, reaching as low as ±0.5°C without requiring any further calibration at the application level. 

The sensor operating mode is user-configurable and allows selecting between different ODRs (down to 1Hz) or the one-shot mode for battery saving. In one-shot mode, the sensor current consumption falls to 1.75µA. Peripheral addresses are also user-configurable and allow up to four different addresses to be specified by manipulating the jumpers on the back of the breakout. In addition, an interrupt pin is available to signal the application whenever the user-selectable high or low threshold has been exceeded.

The Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 Mini is a breakout and development board for the nRF52840, a powerful combination of ARM Cortex-M4 CPU and 2.4GHz Bluetooth radio from SparkFun. With the nRF52840 at the heart of your project, you’ll have access to an almost limitless number of project possibilities in a surprisingly small package. 

Most of the critical I/O pins, including GPIO and those required for power, are separated on our mini development board for the nRF52840, which has a footprint that is nearly identical to the Arduino Pro Mini (except those covered by the Qwiic Connector). It has a USB interface (which takes advantage of the nRF52840’s native USB support) that can be used to program, power, and communicate with the chip, allowing it to be used for any purpose (UART, I2C, SPI) that the Arduino Pro Mini can. A Raytac MDBT50Q-P1M module is included in the Pro nRF52840 Mini. This is the SparkFun Time of Flight (ToF) Range Finder Sensor – VL6180 (Sparkfun), a sensor board for the VL6180 distance sensor. Unlike most distance sensors that rely on reflected light intensity or reflected angles to determine the range, the VL6180 uses a precise clock to measure the time it takes light to bounce back from a surface. This affords the ToF Range Finder and VL6180 a great benefit over other methods because it can be much more accurate and more immune to noise. Does this technology sound familiar? Well it should, it’s the same means cellphones use to detect when the caller is holding their phone to their ear.  

Note: Though the datasheet states the VL6180 measures an absolute range of up to 10cm, we have successfully tested it up to 25cm.

The SparkFun Qwiic MicroPressure Sensor is a miniature breakout equipped with Honeywell’s 25psi piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor. This MicroPressure Sensor offers a calibrated and compensated pressure sensing range of 60 bar to 2.5bar, easy to read 24-bit digital I2C output. 

Each Qwiic MicroPressure Sensor has a calibrated pressure sensing range from 1-25psi and a power consumption rate as low as 0.01mW Typ. average power, 1Hz measurement frequency for ultimate portability. 

This pressure sensor comes with a metal port. You can easily attach a tube to it, to measure air pressure inside a close space.
